Tuesday 24th June - walk ** – Around Felixstowe – Rain first thing, then sunny and warm, breezy too!.

I was hoping for another windsurf foil today but woke to light rain which was supposed to move away with the wsw breeze building, I arranged to meet a mate at Levington around nine. I headed out at 8.30 having a drive around Felixstowe, ending up at Felixstowe Ferry taking some weather pics, sadly this seems a bit of a waste of time at the moment as the main presenters on About Anglia have disappeared:( We meet up at the marina to try and get out with high water approaching but it was gloomy and chilly and when another shower arrived we decided to give it a miss and head for home, perhaps we should have given it more time as the sun appeared and the wind really filled in! After sending some pics to the TV I managed to do my exercises in the sunny and warm back garden before Mag and I had a quick walk down to the prom, there was a strong breeze from the wsw now and the Manor looked good but I could not be bothered so continued onto to our old friend Mary via the town centre where we spotted two more painted Hares:)
